One notable project was our involvement with Providence House.
Providence House is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence. The organization provides food, shelter, counseling, and other therapeutic services to those in need. One of their programs, Peace: A Learned Solution (PALS), helps children aged 3 to 12 heal from domestic violence through creative outlets like art. While Providence House has made a meaningful impact, their status as a non-profit sometimes makes it challenging to fund necessary projects.
Nuss Construction Company became involved with Providence House when a volunteer recommended our team to help construct walls for the facility. Through a connection between Providence House’s Business Manager, Ruth Jackson, and our President, Tammy Herbert, we were able to step in and address the safety needs of the organization.
Some of the projects we completed include building a vestibule, constructing walls, installing a reception sliding window, and adding a secure door with a keypad. These improvements were designed to enhance the safety of the facility for both residents and staff.
