Twenty-One Step Master Roofing
Installation Process |
1. Submit necessary permit paperwork to municipality.
2. Request certificate of insurance be sent to client.
3. Secure dumpster for job debris removal.
4. Protect structure & landscaping with tarps as needed.
5. Remove existing roof shingles down to sheathing.
6. Replace damaged roof sheathing as specified in contract.
7. Install ice & water shield at eaves and valleys.
8. Install #30 roofing felt.
9. Install aluminum drip-edge molding at roof edges.
10. Layout shingle coursing and snap chalk lines.
11. Install starter shingles at eaves and rake edges.
12. Install GAF or Certainteed roof shingles.
13. Install aluminum step and counter flashing.
14. Install plumbing vent pipe flashings.
15. Install GAF Snow Country II ridge vent.
16. Install distinctive hip & ridge shingles.
17. Paint all vent pipes & flashings to blend with shingles.
18. Final job cLearn-up and debris removal including sweeping with magnet to removal nails.
19. Remove any excess material, dumpster, and job sign.
20. Call for final inspection from township building department.
21. Enter job in company schedule for three year check-up.
